Kathy and family: When our Lord calls our loved ones home, he leaves a gift of memories in exchange. Hold on to those memories and let them guide you during this time of sadness. My husband Bob and I always enjoyed Tom so very much. The two of them were always trying to do "one up" on each other. Tom's demeanor was lower key but he could get in some zingers. And ALWAYS the coffee cup. So much fun we had for so many years of golf, social times and sharing. I am honored to have had Tom in my life. Kathy, please know I am available if you need. So sorry to hear of your loss, I worked with Tom and Ed at GTE in Alpena. Tom was a great teacher, I remember working with him at the Besser Company, we rewired the shop for a new telephone system I was the one who had to climb and run the new wire in the nasty spots. When we left for the day he was always clean as when we arrived there, me, I looked like I just crawled out of dirty tunnel, he would just smirk at me. The next day was the same and so was the next day. I really liked working with him. We called him TV.

So sorry to hear of his passing. I remember when he would walk over to the store with a smile on his face and coffee cup in his hand. Was always a pleasure to talk to him. He taught me that if Notre Dame lost the football game on Saturday, it was sure to rain on Sunday. After a quick fillup on the coffee, off he goes, back to his workshop. Neat guy.
