I am very sorry for your loss. I coached against Tom for 23 years as the boys' varsity golf coach at Rockford High School. We also shared some good times at the various golf coach conventions we attended. Rest in peace Tom.

Tom will be miss. Tom was a patient man. I was his golf partner for one season in the Mona Shores golf league. He never got upset with how poorly I played. I was trying to play with a torn rotator cuff. I played badly and had the highest handicap in the league. He just kept on encouraging me. Finally on the league last day I told Tom I think I should give up golf. He look at me with that big smile of his and said," I think that would be a great idea." We both laughed. I play one more time since that day. You know what, he was right I shouldn't be playing golf.
I was a student at Mona shores high school and would often say hi as i was going to class he was always friendly 2 me sorry for the loss to the family and friends

Floating the PM with you, Morg, Ot, Coop, Lew, Roy, Scottie, and others is one of my favorite memories of all time! You will be missed.
Tom was a valued colleague and mentor to all at Mona Shores. I remember meeting him my first day as a Mona Shores teacher 31 years ago. He was always there to support his students and all of us who worked with him. I learned so much from him from supporting and representing teachers to building relationships and honoring the great history of MSHS. He will be missed.
