Tillie was a rare gem of beauty, love, grace and kindness. I will always cherish the times spent with her, whether it was on a mission trip in the Dominican, a gathering of delicious food after every choir year ended which she prepared, working with her at DIBS!, a visit outside where she put up her garage door and had her swinging lawn chair sitting there so we could visit during COVID and still keep a safe distance ( so the kids wouldn’t worry!), a phone call just checking to see how things were going, a meal shared at her kitchen table, or a visit to sit and pray with her in Holland. With each visit during her final times at home, she always had a gift of one of her beautiful hand embroidered towels to give. We both were blessed to have each other as prayer partners and she was so good at prayer. We shared the gift and joys of sewing- hers were all beautifully and mainly done by hand, mine by machine but up until she couldn’t sew anymore she still loved creating beautiful things. I will always treasure those hand embroidered gift towels and the memories, smiles and laughter of a friendship only God could grace me with through His beautiful servant. Blessings and love to all of you.
I met Tillie when I started at American House last October. Tillie was such a sweet lady and she gave the best hugs. She always expressed her love for me by giving me a kiss on the cheek before I left for the night. I will miss her kind heart!
Sweet Tillie let me work with her and Kathy for several years. We always had fun while cleaning a zillion houses. Soft spoken, kind and ready with a smile or laugh. She and John were part of my life as friends of my parents, fellow church goers, and John as one of my high school teachers.
I pray them peace and a well deserved rest.
Dear Witt Family,
May our God grant you comfort in the passing of Tillie.

Dear Mary and family, Tillie will always be remembered for her smiling face, the soft and gentle spirit that she was, and the servant heart that she demonstrated! May God be near you as you remember and honor beautiful Tillie! I wish we could be there with you!

Tillie was a dear friend and a beautiful lady. She was president of the "Ravenna Quilters" when i joined the club in 2009. I learned alot from Tillie and later on I kept her supplied with quilt blocks for her to sew. We are going to miss you Tillie. R.I.P.
We lived in the same neighborhood with Tillie...she was such a delight to stop and chat with!! On beautiful days, we'd see hee out walking and smiling. Going to miss you Tillie ❤️ RIP
