As patrons of Nino's for many years, we just want to say our thoughts and prayers are with the family of Tressa & Nino. The food was delicious and they always stopped to chat with us. My condolences go out to the Pirrotta family on the loss of a wonderful woman who was kind, caring, loving and generous...I was there in her home when I was around 3 years old (40 years ago) and I didnt want to leave but unfortunately I was adopted...She will be loved and missed dearly, I'm sending prayers and blessings for peace from the hands of God, may she rest in peace, with her husband and anyone else who welcomed her back home.

Pat & Tony was foster parents to my brother Rollen & Gary Thorstenson, and they were a wonderful loving family. That strangers could grow and make kid's feel wanted. When I met them and saw my brothers I was amazed by the love and warm hearted feeling. I was so blessed ,Thank you and you will be dearly missed Vicki & Tom Lewis

Throughout my high school years in the late 70's, I worked with Pat & Tony at Nino's. During that time, I worked at Nino's along side their children - Tony, Mark, Craig, & Annette. Pat & Tony always treated me like one of their own too. Although I left Muskegon in 1979, I never forgot them all.
Fortunately, I was able to spend a few minutes with Pat back in 2007 when I made a rare visit to Muskegon. We had an opportunity to reminisce about her son, Mark, with whom I shared a bond. I knew how much she loved and missed him.
I will light a candle tomorrow at my parish, St. Mary Magdalene's Catholic Church, in memory of this phenomenal woman.
