Tressa Mae Pirrotta's Obituary
Mrs. Tressa M. “Pat” Pirrotta, 78, passed away early Friday, October 31, 2014. Born April 21, 1936 to N.Z. and Leta (Barhitte) Smith, she was a life resident of Muskegon. On June 11, 1955 she married Anthony “Nino” Pirrotta, and he died December 13, 2003. Together they operated Nino’s Restaurant on Getty Street for many years. Tressa was a member of St. Patrick-St. Anthony Catholic Church and Fruitport Eagles. Her SURVIVORS include her children: Anthony Pirrotta, Rod (Charlene) McPherson, Craig (Sheila) Pirrotta, Annette (Everett) Smedley, Joe Sieffert, Dan Pirrotta, Derrick Pirrotta, Miranda (Kristopher) Fowler, and Sarah (Trevor) Pirrotta; 21 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; five brothers; and five sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of nearly 50 years; a son, Mark Pirrotta; a brother; and a sister. Mrs. Pirrotta was a foster parent to 75 foster children over the years, several of whom she adopted. She was hard working, loved flashy hats and accessories, and her family always came first.
