May the Lord give comfort and strength to the family during this difficult time. I’m so sorry for your loss.

Velma will be greatly missed by her church family. She was warm and friendly, loved Jesus, her family, and friends. She always had words of wisdom to share when she spoke, and I appreciated her caring words of encouragement when I needed them. She was a positive influence on those she came into contact with. To see the love between Velma and her husband J Arthur was special. You didn’t have to be around them very long to see the depth and beauty of the love they shared. They are an inspiration to all married couples. The love Velma had for J Arthur was overshadowed only by her love for Jesus. She will be missed greatly, but we will see her walking hand in hand with J Arthur on streets of gold one day soon when our Savior comes to take us all home. Barb and I are praying for comfort for her family.

Mrs Sanders was one of the best teachers I ever had! I had her for 5th grade and part of 6th grade at Roosevelt Elementary way back in the 90s, but every time she'd see me or my mom at the grocery store or somewhere, she'd remember me and ask me how life was. She was truly a caring person and a gift to many.
J Arthur and the rest of the family what a painfully sad time you are going through. Tim and I are so sorry for the loss of dear Velma. She was a kind, loving, thoughtful woman who loved her family and her God. She will certainly be missed. May you gain strength from your loving Savior as you go through this sorrowful time. What joy there will be on that resurrection morning.
lovingly,
Barb and Tim Hukill
I always admired the dedication she and her husband showed each other. They were always together enjoying their time as a couple. I will miss her smile and upbeat demeanor. May God give you peace and understanding as you go forth in your journey.
