I was sorry to see that Verna had passed away and upset that I didn't find out until after the funeral. I was the Aquatic Director of the Muskegon YMCA where I enjoyed teaching the Aqua Wave class. It was always nice to have Verna in class. She always had a great attitude and came to class even when she wasn't feeling great because she understood the need to keep moving and enjoyed the friendships she had made over the years in the Aqua Wave class. She always worked to her capacity and brought sunshine to the class. I am glad to have known her and will hold her in my heart forever.##imported-begin##Vicki Arvia##imported-end##

Verna was such a blessing to our family, always looking out for mom and being the neighborhood driver. She always had so much energy to go along with her smile! Your mom went from studying about our Savior to being in His presence in the blink of an eye - wow! What a hole in the family, but what a comfort to know she is worshiping at the feet of Jesus!
