Verna "Pauline" Anderson's Obituary
Mrs. Verna “Pauline” Anderson, age 90, passed away Sunday afternoon, January 13, 2008 in Big Rapids, MI. She was born July 4, 1917 to Roy and Verna (Hawkins) Corwin in Muskegon and lived most of her life there before moving to Newaygo last year. While in Muskegon, Mrs. Anderson attended Lake Harbor Baptist Church and was involved with the Muskegon County Extension. The former Verna Corwin married David F. Anderson on August 27, 1937 in Muskegon. He preceded her in death on December 7, 1991. SURVIVORS include 5 children, Carolyn (Ray) Westgate of Newaygo, Nancy (Earl) Hilaski of Grand Haven, Janice (Jake) Veenstra of Ellsworth, MI, David (Barb) Anderson of Fruitport and Patrick (Jannifer) Anderson of Newaygo; 14 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; brother, Stanley (Wylene) Corwin.
