Vern was a good man, a good Democrat,
and a very good leader inside the Labor
Movement. Vern loved his family first and foremost, but his love of democracy and the labor movement was a close second. As someone who worked closely with Vern while he was a UAW representative, his heart and soul were
in the right place. He always understood the issues and was a good advisor to me when I needed a "sounding board." He was someone you could count on. RIP, Vern, you will be missed!! God bless you and your family.
