Yesterday I went to Vern Pouch's memorial service.. He was a really wonderful guy, from school days.. I use to hang around with about 20 teenagers.. The Pouch's, The Mabrey Girls, my cousin Marlene, Cheryl & Arlene. Steve P, Jens, and many others!.. that was about 1966~'67. Gosh, those were the days!! Some very good memories of some very special people.. We have all taken different paths, but we have always remained friends of the heart.. I met Vern and Sue back around 1975, I was their neighbor and babysitter for the kids. Vern ended up being a good friend of my Dad's. Vern will be missed and is still thought of with smiles and love. I so enjoyed working with Vern at Meijer, and the real Vern came out when we all went on the cruise, which was a blast. I am so sorry for your loss and please know that you, his family, are in my prayers. All of you take care and celebrate his life the way he would.
