When we were married for over one year, we moved in are first house on Wesley Street. Donna and Verle were are backyard neihbors. He would take care of the Rose Bushes that divided are yard. I would look out and they would always be toiling over them.
Donna and Verle let us grow a garden on thier side lot. It was a beauitiful plot. Sue and I joked that probably Verle weeded it while we were working.
If I ever needed to borrow a tool he would take me in his shed, and it was filled with treasures, in Verle's mind and he would have two of every tool needed.
We had all of our three children at our first house. We enjoyed thier company. We did not want to move, Verle and Donna were the best neighbors we could ever have. Are house was getting too small.
Verle and Donna always worked together as a team, even if thier was a little arguing. Verle spent a lot of time moving things with his old truck, He could never sit still. Were sorry we missed the visitation. I can still smell Donna's cooking from my old back yard.
