Vina Jean Myus-Paseshnik's Obituary
Vina Jean Myus-Paseshnik, age 71, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Muskegon on Friday, June 24, 2022. She was born in Lapeer, Michigan on July 11, 1950 to Charles and Phyllis (Hamilton) Myus. Vina was a registered nurse and had worked in Flint, Detroit, and Muskegon in various nursing homes and birthing units throughout her career. Following high school, Vina saved enough money to spend three months in Africa where she grew a fondness for giraffes. She loved being a mother to her sons, “Momma V” to their friends, and aunt/great-aunt to her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed trips to the zoo, scrap booking, reading or watching a good murder mystery, and volunteering at Hope Project. Vina is survived by her sons, Steven Paseshnik and Andrew Paseshnik; sisters, June Gregor and Susan (John) Good; brother, Walter (Lisa) Myus; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and former husband, Peter Paseshnik. VISITATION for Vina will be held from 2-4PM Thursday, June 30, 2022 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444 with her FUNERAL SERVICE held at 4:00PM.
