Mr. Vincent Panozzo's Obituary
Mr. Vincent A. Panozzo, age 22, of Grand Rapids, formerly of Grand Haven passed away unexpectedly Friday, November 16, 2012. He was born February 11, 1990 to Duane and Claire (Crimmins) Panozzo.
Vincent was a 2008 graduate of Grand Haven High School and a recent graduate of Grand Valley State University. He had a passion for a clean environment and was a member of West Michigan Environmental Action Council, Sierra Club and had worked for Greenpeace. He enjoyed traveling and was blessed to spend a semester in France and in Washington DC while at GVSU. Vincent enjoyed reading, music, photography, the color orange, and rooting for the “underdog”. He was outgoing and delighted his many friends with an amazing sense of humor and contagious smile.
He is survived by his parents, Duane and Claire Panozzo of Grand Haven; 1 sister, Kathleen Panozzo, of Nashville, TN; 2 brothers, Kevin Panozzo of Grand Haven, and Jeffrey (Rachel) Panozzo of Marion, IN; grandfather, William Crimmins of Muskegon. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Elizabeth “Betty” Crimmins, and Jack and Margaret Panozzo, and several aunts and uncles.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with Rev. Father William Langlois Officiating. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM Monday at VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad Funeral Home in Grand Haven, with a Rosary at 6 PM. Interment will take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Muskegon.
