This great lady was my Grandmother. As others here have stated she was a kind, and gentle person with never a harsh word. Yes cousin Jamie, God did truely break the mold with this one.
It is a great feeling to know that you are finally where you wanted and needed to be, at home with Grandpa and Jesus.
Grandma, you will be missed. Rest easy, your battles are over. I love you.

My Grandma is beautiful and kind. I remember living at her house as much as my own as a child. I never heard her yell even with all of us kids running crazy all around her! I will miss her so much, I have truthfully already missed her for years before this. Looking around the room full of people in the funeral home tonight made me think..."My God! More than half of the people in this room would not have been born if it were not for her!" Her gorgeous and amazing Great Grandchildren were all so happy! And none of us would be here if it weren't for her. I am blessed and thankful that she is my Grandma, I will never forget. I am sad her life is over, but I am more than blessed that it happened! My heart is heavy with the loss of aunt violet, she was an awsome lady, and I will miss her, but I know that someday I will see her face again, I will always hold dear, the many week-ends I spent with Patty, Jeannie, and Lori, and the many tub baths(cause I didn`t have a bath tub),and aunt violet`s wit and wisdom, and all the things she did to make my wedding day so special, she always had time, or made time.She is with uncle Gene now, and I know she is happy, and at peace.

Aunt Violet was like a second mom to me. The things I loved the most about her were ingrained in her character and personality. She was gentle. So gentle. She had unconditional love for me, and so many others. I will always treasure the way she listened so intently. And her laugh....it is etched in my mind forever. I will hold her in my heart forever too, and am celebrating her life, her love, and her legacy of being a Jesus follower.
