Virgil was a wonderful person whom I had the honor of getting to know a year and a half ago. You would have never guessed that he was in his mid-nineties. He loved watching sports, and we laughed through several episodes of "Hillbilly Handfishin". He shared memories of his childhood including stories of fun days at the Muskegon County Recreation Pavillion at Mona Lake Park in the mid 1920's. He was blessed to be able to live at his home into 2012. My condolences go out to Daryl and Virgil's extended family.
