Mr. Virgil Taulbee's Obituary
Mr. Virgil Taulbee, age 97, passed away Monday, July 30, 2012 at Brookhaven Medical Care Facility. He was born January 7, 1915 in Wolf Co., KY, to Willis and Dixie (Patton) Taulbee. Virgil worked as an assembler for Teledyne-Continental Motors before retiring. He married the former Karin M. Edlund in Muskegon on September 29, 1962 and she preceded him in death. Virgil was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting. SURVIVORS include his son, Darryl (Charlene) Taulbee of Muskegon; 7 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; and 1 brother, Frank Taulbee of Pensacola, FL. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Barbara Taulbee Halasinski, brother, Bert Taulbee, sister, Blanche Taulbee, and step-sister, Irma and step-brother, Lester. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Saturday at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 Apple Avenue, (231) 726-5210. INTERMENT will take place at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
