She always looked lovely. I remember Cookie too, they were a "special" couple.

"What A Day That Will Be When Our Jesus & Our Loved Ones We Shall See!"
Virginia (Mrs. Northrup to me then) was always my favorite Sunday School teacher. I had her for two years at Spring Lake Baptist. It was an all girls class. After class one Sunday, after all the other girls were gone, I told her that I wasn't sure that I was a Christian. We talked for a few minutes and she helped me to pray to accept Christ as my Savior. Pastor Northrup baptized me on an Easter Sunday. Then in August 1963 Pastor Northrup came back from Detroit to Spring Lake to perform our wedding ceremony. My husband, Bob Bird, was also saved and baptized under his ministry.

Hi Janice and David,
Sorry to hear about your moms passing but she lived a great life. I remember as kids coming and spend nights at your folks with Janice and then walking to school together. We have had a lot of great times and a lot of sad times. Knowing that she is in Heaven with Pastor Floyd and Jesus now is great. I pray that the Lord gives you comfort and peace at this time. Ps. 23.
