Mrs. Virginia “Mildred” Blakely, age 93, passed away peacefully at her daughter’s Jane’s home in Muskegon on Sunday morning, December 30, 2007. She was born August 24, 1914 in Lawrence, KS where she graduated as valedictorian from Read Obituary

Your mom was a very "special" lady, and was loved by many people. She always had a beautiful smile on her face, and we will always remember her with loving thoughts. She spent her life putting other people first, and that was one of her most endearing qualities. your mother. Mildred was a dear friend,for as long as I can remember;which includes my childhood at Wood Avenue Methodist. She and Edgar were very dear friends of my parents,as
well. She was full of life and fun and certainly lived her Christian faith.She
