Wayne, I considered my true friend. I didn’t meet Wayne until he was 87. I had just bought a condo in Arthur Court. Wayne help me pull all the invasive wines out of the trees behind my condo along with getting rid of the things that didn’t belong, just cleaning all the backyard which was pretty big. He has been my friend ever since. You couldn’t ask for anyone better. I miss him terribly. We were also tied by our birthdays in away, mine the 23rd April, his June 23rd. His 98th in a few days. We were 20 years apart. We never had a problem remembering each other’s birthdays.

Karl and I enjoyed the hospitality of Wayne and Patsy when we visited Karin and Dan. Sometimes it was the perch Wayne caught and other times we went out to eat fish with them. Happy times!

To the Tovey family From the early days on Tovey hill as kids until I seen the mayor in my office (Kieft Insurance) For the last time we always had many laughs remembering all the fun times. I smile every time I think of Wayne. The memories of the Mayor & Patsy, along with the entire Tovey family, are very special ! I imagine Wayne, Pat, and Danny are enjoying a cold one, toasting Wayne joining them, telling stories, laughing , and sharing their love for each other. They are all very special.
