I was revisiting my mom's page tonight, and am shocked and heartbroken for you and your family, at the passing of your father. Our parents were good friends. Your father's and my mother's deaths are the beginning of the end of a great era and of great people.

Our prayers and thoughts to the Montambo family. There are so many events that I will forever cherish with uncle Bill and his family. He made us feel so welcome as we enjoyed the moments at Wolf lake having fun family picnics.
I was so proud in the construction industry to say Bill was my uncle. everyone respected him for his masonry and most of all the smile and the way he made others feel welcome.
Working on his family farm bailing hay and having him teach me to drive a tractor for the first time was a memory that I'll forever cherish.

I am Uncle Bill's great nephew. I am his brother, Jack's, oldest grandson. I haven't seen Uncle Bill in a few years and have missed him, and now I will miss him even more. It was always neat to talk to him because he reminded me so much of Grandpa (of course Grandpa, Uncle Bill and Uncle Al all looked and acted alot alike, lol) I know that it may sound cliche, but Uncle Bill is now reunited with Aunt Bert and all of his beloved that went before him, Glory Be!
Been praying for the family...wish I could be there.

Our prayers are with Uncle Bill's family at this time. My favorite memory is Uncle Bill teaching me to waterski on Wolf Lake. He gave me a great time.
