Mr. William “Bill” Rake, 74, passed away early Saturday morning, September 27, at his home. He was born March 2, 1940 to Leroy and Ruth (Richards) Rake in Muskegon, and moved to the White Cloud area in 1999. Bill worked for Dresse Read Obituary
Our condolences to the Rake, Peterson and Sikkenga families. I cherish the memories of going over to the Rake house as a boy and listening to stories from him and uncle Bud as they worked on his race car. My father always said if there was ever a friend who needed help Bill was there to lend a hand. He proved that over and over. He will be missed but never forgotten.

Very sad to hear of Bill's passing,but will always remember the great times I was able to have with him and you guys(pig roast's at Eagle's park,camping at Hardy dam,listening to him and uncle Bud telling story's in the back garage) hopefully in time the memories you have of him will take away the pain of losing him.Be thinking about and praying for you all.

Sorry to hear of Bill's death. Bill is my cousin, and I remember Bill at various Richards' family events when we were young. Also, his love of race cars.
