I wasn't privileged with the remarkable acquaintance of Mr.Tierman as you were,but it saddens me to read of your loss. Please accept my family's sincerest condolences. It brings great comfort to many to know that the Almighty God and Creator promises us in his word the Bible, that soon death, mourning, outcry, and pain will be no more. May you have peace.
It was my pleasure knowing Bill for the last few years. His memories of Wrigley Field, Chicago Cub and Detroit Tiger announcers like Bob Elson and Harry Heilmann, driving through snow storms from Muskegon to Grand Haven, setting blocks of type for printing in the days before computers, etc. were always interesting. My thoughts are with Bill's family and friends.
