William C. "Willie" Bugai's Obituary
Mr. William C. “Willie” Bugai, age 81, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2005 at a local hospital. He was born January 29, 1924 in Traverse City, MI to Albert and Marie Bugai and lived in the Muskegon area most of his life. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and served as an airplane mechanic during WWII. On March 8, 1949, he married the former Virginia L. Sauers in Muskegon. Prior to his retirement, he worked 45 years as a machinist at Teledyne-Continental Motors. He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church and the VFW #8829 Don Rea Post. SURVIVORS include his wife, Virginia; 3 children, Daniel (Marjorie) Kissel of Muskegon, David (Dolly) Kissel of Whitehall, Mary Ann (Terry) Reynolds of Muskegon; 1 daughter-in-law, Shirley Ann Kissel of Muskegon; 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; and a close friend, Clyde Malott. He was preceded in death by 1 son, William “Bill” Kissel. THE FUNERAL LITURGY will be celebrated 11:00 AM Thursday, April 28, 2005 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Michael P. Olson presiding. INTERMENT will take place at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION with the family will take place one hour prior to the Mass, 10-11 AM Thursday at church.
