To Evelyn his wife, and Pastor Willie "Candyman" Crowell's family,
I was so sadden to hear of his passing. He had a natural personality that magnetized many around him. There was something about "Candyman " a sort of mystique that you couldn't help but to be drawn to.
I'm thankful to God for having known and graduated with Pastor Willie "Candyman" Crowell. I will remember the positive things about him. I will miss "Candyman" like so many that liked and loved him. According to my God, we shall see Candyman again, with a new body, that will never again be sick or die. Rev 21:4 & 5. Classmate Lela Hines Lyons
Family, as we have experienced most of all the love, the ministry, the laughter, the fun times and the legacy of our beloved Willie Crowell. You were in some of our lives for a little while, and in the lives of many for a long while, and we will always hold you in our hearts forever.
Family of faith, our goodbyes are never truly goodbyes but rather we look forward to seeing one another again. According to (1 Thes. 4:14) "...... and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in Him.”
It is well with my soul,
